I am a Norwegian painter working with abstract interpretations of nature, inspired by close observation of details often overlooked.
My work begins with photography taken during walks in the Norwegian landscape throughout the seasons. By zooming in on fragments -shadows, water, organic structures, I translate impressions into paintings that exist between inner landscape and abstraction. Within the smallest details of nature, larger narratives emerge, and through these metaphors for human experience, I find inspiration in every step along the path I walk.
ANNO is a series of twelve interconnected paintings, each corresponding to a month of the year.
Inspired by seasonal shifts in light, color, and atmosphere, the series reflects a cycle rather than individual moments. Each painting can stand alone, but together they form a continuous landscape for the viewer to move through.
The series has been presented in two exhibitions;
-Abstract Art Weekend, Galleri Krutthuset, Stavern, høsten 2024
-Høstutstillingen, Galleri Steinbrakka, høsten 2025
I offer the series for sale as a whole, prize upon request.
