I am an abstract impressionist painter from Norway, finding beauty and inspiration from the smallest of things in nature. If you stop, and SEE, there's an unlimited source of joy and feeling of flow in everyday life. The shadow of a fern, a raindrop on a leaf, frozen water on a branch. Tiny patterns, colors and shapes that can be abstracted and transformed into art. My paintings reflects the impressions I get from walking in the norwegian woods through the seasons, I invite the viewer to walk with me and share a glimpse of fresh air, silence and food for the eye in the meeting with my art.
My first series is called "One year" and consists of 12 paintings in the sizes of 70x70 cm-100x120 cm, acrylics/oil on canvas, titled by the the name of the month of which they are inspired.
