I am an abstract impressionist painter from Norway, finding beauty and inspiration from the smallest of things in nature.
We all fight our daily battles. Life can feel overwhelming, we have not only our own problems to deal with, but the whole worlds suffering in our hand, one click away. I have found that nature is the only place I can truly rest my brain. If you stop, and SEE, there's an unlimited source of joy and feeling of flow in everyday life. The shadow of a fern, a raindrop on a leaf, frozen water on a branch. Zoom in, and everything else disappears. Tiny patterns, colors and shapes that can be abstracted and transformed into art. My paintings reflects the impressions I get from walking in the norwegian woods through the seasons, I invite the viewer to walk with me and share a glimpse of fresh air, silence and food for the eye in the meeting with my art.
My first series is called "ANNO" and consists of 12 paintings in the sizes of 60x60 cm-100x120 cm, acrylics/oil on canvas, titled by the the name of the month of which they are inspired.
I offer the series for sale as a whole, prize upon request.
